For over forty years New Zealand Vietnam Veterans suffered ignominy for their faithful service in The Vietnam War. Tribute 08 bought closure to some but not all. Our fallen Brave were finally recognised but many who returned had since died. None the less Tribute 08 was OUR Song of Triumph. Our service was recognised, our suffering was recognised and our families, who had suffered exceedingly, were bought in from the cold.
Our noble purpose was fulfilled, our highest aspirations were achieved.
